"The Fruit of the Spirit is....goodness," Galations 5:22

"Do all the good you can,
by all the means you can,
in all the ways you can,
in all the places you can,
to all the people you can,
as long as you can."
~ John Wesley

"Due to our sin and flesh, we need God's grace and the Spirit's power
to exhibit His fruit of goodness, because any and all goodness - genuine goodness -
must have God in the formula."[1]

"Our world, churches, and homes need people who are actively kind;
people who walk out their door every day ready to do good
- not just thinking about it, or praying about it;
people who are devoted to making the lives of others better.
Goodness will do everything it can to shower God's goodness upon others."[2]

I've been reading in my devotions "A Woman's Walk With God; Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit" by Elizabeth George.  I finished the chapter on Goodness this morning and wanted to share with you some of the things that I wrote down in my notes.
