"We can become so involved in the work
of the Lord that we neglect the
Lord of the work."

  1. Good Afternoon,

Your sister has recently began following my blog and has left some really nice comments. When I returned to her blog to leave a comment this afternoon, I stumbled across your blog. This quote really spoke to me this afternoon. If we seek the Lord's will for our life, He will lead us to the ministry that He wants us to be apart of. The Holy Spirit has given each believer different spiritual gifts and we must use them in a way that truly glorifies God.

    God Bless,
    Josh

  2. Hi Josh,
I found this quote in a book that I read recently and knew as soon as I read it that I wanted to share it with others.
You're right, God has given each believer special and unique gifts that we are to use for His glory. The key in using our gifts is remembering that we are using them for God's glory and that whatever happens while we are working for Him is part of His plan for our life. Trusting Him in every situation is something God has been trying to teach me lately. - Not forgetting His hand in my life when I am working for Him.

Thanks for commenting. It is always encouraging to know that God has used something He layed on my heart to share, that speaks to others as well.

    In Him,
    Devin
